Today my youngest turned eight, how did that happen? You can see her above when she turned two… and below she is happily holding presents from this morning. (Ooops… did I just out myself that in a pinch we use Christmas wrapping paper for birthday paper!? ) Tonight we had a very nice family celebration at the Mongolian Grill where you can buy a very large bowl of noodles with extra for breakfast tomorrow! Yum! :)

So my daughter wanted to take her friends to paint ceramics for her birthday. It turned out to be a great party and even Dude and I got in on the painting! :) Then we went home and had cake to celebrate. My youngest daughter decorated the cake for her sister… It was a very nice day!

Another successful Slingshot event. I’m glad that all the kids had fun. As the my girls get older the birthdays get a bit easier because I’ve done a few, but I still get a little wound up fretting over the details, happily it all ran smoothly! :D The time certainly does fly…

So she has been asking for this pony for about 2 years now… I sort of try and keep the large items from entering my house as they take up space quickly, but we gave in… Now the question is will I give in and let this huge pony ride with us for 10 hours to California? Hmmm… :)
