I was happily playing FC4 when my spouse pointed out that Mass Effect – Andromeda was coming out and he thought that I would like it. So I decided to give it a try. I have to say it is pretty darn fun! I can color my armor, use lots of different powers, and drive around in the awesome gold ride below! What more can you ask from a game?! 😉
…hello Razer Orbweaver. I’ve had my Razer Nostromo gaming keypad for five years and you can see that I beat it to death. 🙁 The #10 key stopped working and so I had to find a replacement. Happily the new Orbweaver is amazing and definately an upgrade, it lights up in rainbows! I still feel a little sad about getting rid of my beaten up Nostromo who first got me hooked on programmable keypads. They rule if you are old and need all the help you can get remembering where the needed keys are… and yes I do, even extra help as noted by the post-its. 🙂 Anyway, as always out with the old and in with the new.
I took the day off to play Far Cry-Primal which was just released today. Not the best way to keep my quilting going, but the game is pretty fun! 😀 I see a bit of distraction in my future…
I KNOW! What was I thinking? Things have been a little crazy here with getting my mom settled in and I just wanted something to take my mind off it all. Dude was playing Fallout 4 and wouldn’t stop talking about how awesome it is… so… you know how it goes, I had to try! And of course, it is kind of awesome. I’m going to pace myself though, and keep on track with the sewing… next week… after I get Pablo some better armor! Sheesh, what is he wearing? 😉
I wasn’t going to get sucked in… Really! But apparently I have and it has made me behind on my quilting… wahhhhh! 🙁 Oh well. I’m going to try to get back on track today and stay away from the Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns. But you can see, my mastery level is 2! That isn’t very high so I keep thinking I’ll just play for just a bit, and well we all know how that goes! Just a bit turns into a couple of hours… What can I say, it is fun so really the only downside is that I don’t want to get too far behind on the Farmer’s wife. Focus, I can focus! 🙂
Woohoo! I finally figured out how to make non-square pieced blocks and set them in a quilt using EQ7! Okay, so I bought this book and I was a little disappointed that it mostly shows how to do pieced squares which I kinda had under control. What it did clear up was the ratio needed to draw hexies and then I figured out the difference between easy draw and pieced draw blocks and then…. it all clicked. I love it when that happens. 🙂 Now I just have to write it down somewhere before I forget what I did! Ha!
My girls played guild wars with me today and here they are reviving their mom! Awww… so cute! 🙂
