Sparkly is always good

Not sure what I’m making here… but I love the sparkle!!
Encased flower ring

Another ring… super comfy to wear!

My torch had cobwebs on it!

Apparently it had been awhile since I lit it up! But I did! Yeah… I’m working on finding time again to melt a little glass. If I get on it I should have an update next week. Woohoo!
Whew… made it home.

It was a good trip… but it’s nice to be home.

Rogue River

We got back from our three day raft trip over the weekend. It was a great success! Both girls went solo in the inflatable kayaks for the first time… woohoo!
Basketball camp

This week it was basketball camp at the arena. It was pretty cool… They got to play in the arena and hang out with many of the women’s basketball players. Of course my child sported the mismatched skull socks!

Firsts are always frustrating.

So I don’t cook… but I can sometimes be prompted into trying something creative in the kitchen. We found this site and decided we had to try making these cake pops. As with everything, the first time can be frustrating. Our pops were too big which caused them to fall off the sticks, and apparently we forgot to buy foam for them to dry on and cramming them into a lid from an old Omaha Steaks order wasn’t really cutting it… Oh well. My youngest thought it was all awesome which I guess is what really matters. She has been pining to work with fondant since she saw her first Ace of Cakes. (As I write this she is already agitating to find modeling chocolate for the next batch… uh-oh…) I get props though for doing a cooking activity on day one of summer! I better slow down or I’m gonna run out of steam.
