I’m making another necklace…

Remember this post? I finished the necklace and sold it in the Mart and never mentioned it over here. So I thought I’d kick of my Year of Jewelry 2010 (in March…yikes!) with it.

Okay… I did it… I added ALL the many bead photos to my gallery. Mostly it was a little challenge to see if I could figure out how to do it… and I did! Yeah!

My oldest is making animated gifs for the web! She is smitten with bacon, what can I say?! Really, who doesn’t like bacon…

I thought oh I’ve got a new site, maybe I should trick out (does anyone still say that?! ) my bead gallery. This new host has some different programs that I kind of wanted to try out… But nothing just works how I want it to so it becomes one big puzzle. Of course I can’t stop myself, I have to make it work. Sigh… Oh well, it is a little variety in my week, along with physical therapy (I’ll save that story for another day), car maintenance, working in the classroom… well you know, your week is the same right?! Anyway, after sitting at the computer for six hours on Thursday (and you will notice, still no “tricked out” bead gallery) I decided that maybe it wasn’t just my daughter who needed a timer to manage her computer time! Ha! Okay, stepping away from the computer… must go do laundry! Oh, and make some beads of course!

So I spent most of the weekend moving my blog to this new location. Yeah! The downside is that usually when I geek out this much with web stuff I have a shiny new site or at least a new look to my site, but alas, no new look… just more speed. That’s a good thing right?! Hopefully you notice it when you stop by, I do and it does make me smile every time that I hit refresh. (Go ahead… try it… too nerdly right?) Anyway, just a quick note to keep you updated. I’ll be busy making beads tomorrow since my weekend was sorely lacking in glass time!

So I’ve gathered up a few pieces… in hopes of making a necklace one of these days! Tomorrow I have to wait for an appliance delivery so maybe I can squeeze it in then… Here is my inspiration -
