Media Madness!

I got new video software and so of course we had to do something that we could share… :D (Remember… the camera adds 10lbs.! Eeek! ) Don’t worry though, I’ve been making beads too! I’ll have an update on Tuesday at 11:30am.

About Me!

Okay, so here it is… my story. I live in Eugene, OR with my husband and two daughters. You might wonder about how I came up with the name Duda Designs… Well, I usually refer to my husband as “dude” and we decided that the feminine of “dude” was “duda” and hence a name was born.

I have a Fine Arts degree from Bryn Mawr College where I studied printmaking and painting. Through the years I’ve tried many creative outlets and I certainly seem to be hooked on melting glass.

I have been making beads since about 1999. I have been fortunate enough to study with Deb Crowley, Leah Fairbanks, Stephanie Sersich, Heather Trimlett, Kim Fields, and most recently Kristina Logan. Each artist was a delight and I look forward to more classes in the future.

Here is a photo of my very cute studio.

The inside… really, I do know where everything is…

and here is my elegant web design/shipping and receiving department.

So there you have it, a little bit about me and my creative space. Thanks to everyone who has been interested in my glass beads and jewelry over the years, I hope that you continue to stay tuned. I predict lots of glassy goodness in our future! :)

Wanna see me in action? Make sure you check out my videos too! Click here or here to watch me at the torch.

Oh… and of course my kids love to make art as well!
