So my store has been running slow. Have you noticed? I have and it has been driving me crazy! But… happily I think I have a solution and it makes me oh so happy! Big fun… right?! Happily I can check it off my list for another year!

I’ve finally gotten all my photos into the gallery from 2009! Yeah! I didn’t make as many “crazy” pieces this year for my YOJ efforts, but of course it is a new year and I’m optimistic for 2010! I always seem to have more ideas than time, but I’m sure that is true for everyone. Above are just a few pieces of jewelry that I made in December 2009.

I decided to give myself an early birthday gift… I got some fancy glittery blue nails! My youngest was so grumpy with me that I went without her. I did remind her that it was MY birthday! I think I’ll be the envy of all the second graders on our field trip to the fire station tomorrow! Ha!

This is what happens when you fall asleep during piano lessons and your kids know how to work your phone. My youngest got my phone, took this oh so attractive photo of me and then added the beautiful clip art. Isn’t she amusing?! Not! Okay, maybe a little! At least they don’t have their own phones to make trouble with… yet…

Ooops… Even I occassionally have beads break when I try to take them off the mandrel. I think the mandrel was a bit bent. I was having trouble getting the long bead off and of course I forced it. Gotta have straight mandrels! Oh well… No school today so I’m off to have lunch with the girlies and then I’ll be cleaning beads for my update tomorrow. Happily I’ve got more hearts so check back!

Bowling and then pizza with ten girls made for a very nice birthday celebration! Happy Birthday Wee!

Here is a peek at what I made yesterday. I’m stuck on over decorated hearts! I really do love to add lots of detail to my beads… Right now I’m in a “lots-o-dots” phase. Doesn’t everyone like lots of dots?!
