Listening to Journey at the roller rink makes me feel like I’m twelve again… Uh-oh, it’s time to skate with the black light, better go.

Here is a pic of a necklace I made for my mom. I made some other gifts but of course I forgot to photograph them…

So my youngest got this very cool remote control helicopter today… and hmmmm… who played with it the most? It has been a great day at our house, hope Santa is good to you and your family.

We spent the day yesterday making gingerbread houses. It was quite fun for the girls… I just walked away and didn’t watch how much icing that they actually ate! I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here… Click the pics for a bigger view!

Today the girls are off to camp where they get to cook pizza in a restaurant kitchen. They are very excited! It just happens to also be in the building where they went to preschool so I was feeling quite nostalgic as I dropped them off. I remember them being little (as they are in the photo) and racing down the halls… sigh… They were also recalling lots of memories which was very cute. As we say in our house – savor every sandwich! Time just flies! Okay, enough sappiness, off to a day of fun with my dude. I think we are going to breakfast and an early movie. Enjoy your Monday.

Who could pass on the Christmas flamingo? I had to have it!

No new beads today, but of course the Mart is still open. I’ll be back in 2010 with some new goodies. I’ve ordered a new press which I hope is fun and will inspire some new jewelry ideas for everyone! Woohoo! Until then have a wonderful holiday season with family and friends. Stay tuned to my blog as I’ll have updates on many projects that I’ve been wanting to work on but haven’t had time for until now.

Ta-dah! I knitted it (twice actually), felted it, then felted it some more to add all of the white dots. I’m still not done, it needs beads don’t you think?!
