Woohoo! I took advantage of the nice sunny day and got our holiday lights up. I had forgotten that I bought a huge snowman last year! Yeah for me. Although I got the lights up, I feel like some of the candy canes are not working great and I need to buy my one new addition for this year. Hmmmm …. just what should that be?! Guess I better go scope out the latest in Christmas lights to see what I should add. Of course once I add the new item I’ll update you with “phase two” of lighting for project Holiday 2009!

I just love Christmas lights!!

Who thought it would be a good idea to have both girlies in braces at the same time? Ok, it was me… Going to appointments at the same time just seemed more efficient. However, two miserable girls at once was maybe not the best idea. There have been some tears over the last few days but I think that we might be through the worst of it… Whew! Poor kids, when you first get new wires (as with my oldest) or new braces (as with my youngest) there is certainly an adjustment period before you can happily eat again. They should be at leat 90% by tomorrow so they can enjoy the turkey feast. Yeah!

I give it two thumbs up! I took my oldest daughter and we both enjoyed it. The movie is about a family who took in Michael Oher and helped him succeed in school and get a football scholarship. The photo above is of Michael Oher and his “real” family. It was a very sweet story.

Sunshine in late November is always welcome! Another day that I get to walk home with my girlies and hear all about their hectic day…

I’ve been updating all my social network connections. I finally made a page over at Facebook in case you want to follow my store over there… I also have my blog and store hooked into twitter so you can get my tweets. Of course I’ve been over on Flickr and YouTube forever. I think that I’m now everywhere that I can be! Ha! Whew! That took forever! But I finally got my newest bead embroidery tutorial up on my site. I just love this little pendant that I made with one of my glass cabs. I hope to have a few cabochons in the mart tomorrow in case anyone wants to give it a try!

My youngest fell in love with these giant gems at the gem faire this morning… Yes, I am training my girls early to love jewelry and all things sparkly! I got a few fun goodies that will probably appear in earrings sometime soon in my store.
