What is that noise?

So I heard this light yelping this morning and I thought what is that? Is that an injured dog? So the kids and I go to check it out and it is a rafter (yes, I looked it up) of turkeys! They usually hang out in a nearby park, not in our yard. It was a little morning excitement for our family.
Okay, off to make beads for tomorrow’s update…
I have seven.

I’m truckin’ along… I’ve got seven. I’ve been making them while my children run around in karate. I guess that I need them going to karate more than twice a week. Ha!
What am I going to do with them? I have no idea, but they are very relaxing to make so I’m just truckin’ on…
New glass goodies!
I’ve gotten a few new sets in the Mart today. Click on over to check them out! I had a few more sets but I got behind listing them this morning, apparently time off for me means brain freeze!
Oh well, I got a few sets up, including the charm holder focal. I think it is a neat idea, wire wrap, or use cord to hand some charms from the large hole… I’ll try to have an example here soon. Okay, happy Tuesday!
Oh to be eight!

Today my youngest turned eight, how did that happen? You can see her above when she turned two… and below she is happily holding presents from this morning. (Ooops… did I just out myself that in a pinch we use Christmas wrapping paper for birthday paper!?
) Tonight we had a very nice family celebration at the Mongolian Grill where you can buy a very large bowl of noodles with extra for breakfast tomorrow! Yum!

Black and White bracelet.

Isn’t it a beauty? I was sent this photo by Laura. Thanks so much for sharing!! I just love all the silver swirly do-dahs mixed in with a few of my daisy murrini beads.
Beaded beads today.

So the only new beads that I have to share today are the beaded beads I’ve been making recently. They take forever to make but I like the process. I’ve been trying to whip up (yes, so far I only have two) a few here and there. I’ve got some new jewelry ideas that I hope I will actually finish sometime soon. I’ve been suffering a bit from mental beading… that is where I finish the project in my head and don’t actually feel the need to make it. As you might expect, this isn’t great for a website! Ha! Anyway, I’ll be back on track next week (and many thereafter) with Mart updates. School is almost ready to start again out here and I’ll certainly be back to my routine by then. Enjoy your evening!
We were brave.
We lived on the edge and just followed our fearless GPS leader to a museum along I-5 and it was a great success! We saw the most complete T-Rex skeleton (yes I read all the details!) and we saw a very cool bird and butterfly exhibit. All and all a complete success!
Now only five more hours tomorrow… Oh boy…
Monterey Bay Aquarium

Today we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and it was fabulous! I am still just amazed at how cool it was! We saw fabulous jellyfish, a super cool seahorse exhibit, and of course a few sharks just for fun. I’m kicking myself a little bit that it took us so long to get down there with the kids, what can I say… this was the year where I had my little GPS helper which has made a world of difference!
