We stopped for lunch at Salt Creek Falls on our way home from Sunriver. Of course more water meant more wading… It was a great trip, we are already thinking about next year!

It is hot out which is wonderful! Dude and the girls are going whitewater rafting later so we are all just taking it easy this morning.

Sisterly fun at the pool… does it get any better?!

Our friends came over to visit us in Sunriver (Yeah! ) for a few days and we went on the nearby cave hike. Here is a photo underground with no flash of all the happy hikers. It is a 2 mile hike underground in this huge cave made from a lava tube. You need to bring a lantern to see and the temp is a balmy 42 degrees.

Every year we seem to hike to Benham Falls. Probably because it is close and as hikes go it isn’t too strenuous, although you’d think we were hiking Mt. Everest with all the complaining that was going on… It was still a nice family event and of course Dude had to get in the water and the girls followed shortly.

Woohoo! Family vacation here we come!

Hey mom… what do you think? It is certainly more “old school” in terms of the basic layout, but I kind of like it. I realized that now everyone is making their blog into more of a magazine style which uses more pages instead of posts, and that really isn’t me. I’m kind of a drive-by blogger, nothing fancy, just a little hello for the day. Gotta make time for beads right?! (And kids, and errands, and laundry… I could go on but I won’t! ) Anyway, there are still a few adjustments to make but I basically like this layout. What do you think?

They begged, I said you have to spend YOUR money, they said okay and so we went to Chuck’s. It took all of 15 minutes for them to zip through their tokens and many of their “prizes” were broken in about 2 hours… sigh… Oh well, it made them happy I guess. I can remember when Chuck scared them…

So I’m not planning on any beady update for the next few weeks. We are heading out of town and school ends this week which means lots of activities to keep us busy. I’ll be back in the Mart in early July so make sure you are on my mailing list to stay in the know! Keep watching my blog because of course I’ll keep you updated here about all of our family or non-Mart beady antics. I hope that you are enjoying some summer fun too!

I can’t believe a week has gone by and I didn’t update once! I tell ya’, school is almost out, I’m obsessed with shopping carts and there are just not enough hours in the day. And now a new season of Top Chef has to be squeezed in… sheesh… I’m sure somehow I’ll manage. Take a peek at the latest if you have a minute. Happy Tuesday, oops! I mean Wednesday! Wow, I AM late!!

So I’ve added a few new sets in my store – www.dudamart.com. Click on over and take a peek. These beads were hard to list because they match the skirt I have on today (seen in the photo) so perfectly!

Oh, and before I forget, you may have noticed that I’m messing with my blog. I’m trying to get my store over here on my blog, all under the big dudaduda.com domain! So if things look different in the next few days, (ummm maybe weeks, I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew! ) just hang tight until I give the big heads up that I’m done making changes. (And yes Mom, that means a new layout is on the way, start dancing a jig now! My mom hates the current layout… Lets see if this taunting gets her brave enough to post a comment! Ha!)
