It has gotten hot around here lately, which means it is time for a little fun in the sprinklers.

I took a little time to sew myself a purse…

and of course my girls had to get into the action! They begged me to let them stay up late to finish their stuffed animals so that they could sleep with them. What could I say, of course I let them.

One last outing in the paddle boat before we head home.

It may be small, but my youngest still caught a fish all by herself!

We decided to get away for one night and here we are… A funky RV permanantly parked along a river. The location is beautiful and my kids are attempting to fish up a storm. After playing lots of animal crossing they now think that they are fishing pros! We shall see…

So Dude made it into the news! You can watch a little video about his office here. He worked on the game for this movie and my oldest got to be a tester for it and is listed in the credits. I guess that is the perks of having your dad make video games. It is nice to see after all his hard work that his company is getting a little local press.

I just added these pretty pink flowers to my photoblog. I’ve been taking lots of pics these days, I just seem to run out of energy at the end of the day when it comes time to share… Hopefully with summer around the corner and a more flexible schedule I’ll get back on track. Hope you have some sunshine in your neighborhood today…

Really, what could make a mom more proud? Both my kids are sketching jewelry designs. My youngest, who just got her ears pierced, is of course stuck on earrings. My oldest, who is playing lots of Animal Crossing with me these days, is stuck on argyle because she just bought a new argyle dress for her character in the game. I think that it is all just too cute so I had to share.
