Gallery fixed!

So I have been trying to figure out how to get my gallery to work again… Really, it all has to be automated so I can keep ALL my photos organized and I think I have done it! Woohoo! :D

I'm all alone!

And lovin’ it! :) My family has gone to the Coast for the weekend so I can putter about in silence. I’m playing with some of the photos that I took in California. I want to make a gallery for those too… oh and catch up my YOJ gallery… oh and finish my book… oh and where does all the time go?! Sigh. :D

Jimmy… Is That You?

I’m kind of in love with this site right now…

Why not?!

So today I made a twitter account and a facebook account and I got my website to automatically (cross my fingers) update both of them. :) If you want to subscribe to my blog with twitter instead of with RSS go for it. I *think* it lets you know when I add updates, but I’m not totally sure… Anyway, that was my accomplishment for the day… after hanging with the girls at the park of course!

Sometimes it pays to be organized!

Apparently my controller was happy taking the week off and wasn’t ready to start again today. As soon as I turned it on it made this loud rattling noise and being oh so observant I realized… this is bad! The only piece I had a spare of in my controller was the relay so I thought what the heck, I’ll just swap it out and see if I can fix it without electrocuting myself. Happily… I did! I have already ordered another relay so I can be prepared the next time my controller wants to stay on vacation… ha! At least this time no beads were killed in the process.

Finally we stopped!

Every year we drive by this little pool in Medford that you can see from the freeway. I always think that we should stop and check it out but often we are too tired or just starting our trip so we don’t stop. Finally this year I decided that we needed to check it out. Apparently it is bumper boats where you try to ram each other and spray each other with water. At 10a.m. it wasn’t very crowded but my girls thought that it was a nice break from sitting in the car. :)

Weed or bust!

Today we start our trip home… It is a long straight trek around Vacaville so I thought I’d update my blog from my car with the help of cruise control and an empty freeway. :)

Giant Dipper again…

Today is our last day in Watsonville. We had a few more tickets for the Boardwalk so we went over there this morning and I took my video camera with me on the roller coaster. I was only brave enough to hold it up for a little bit to capture the glee that my youngest was having on this ride. :D

Ride through the redwoods.

Today we drove to Roaring Camp where we rode one of two working steam engine trains in the US through the forest. It was very peaceful…

Fearless update…

Apparently my youngest rode the Fireball when I wasn’t with her… I’m a little bit in shock!
