My daughter really wanted me to share one of her drawings… so here is a Neopet Starry Kacheek… just click the thumbnail below for the full picture. Don’t know what a Neopet is? Don’t worry, I wouldn’t know either except both my kids somehow became obsessed with them and they are often something that they like to draw.

On the bead front I have a few design ideas for jewelry cooking, hopefully I will have something fun to share soon! I also want to make a few silver components to play with… maybe I can even have some in the Mart next week, we’ll have to see how the week goes…

New goodies just added to my store. Please take a peek if you have a minute, lots of hearts and some great new boro combos! I still get so excited by the boro glass because you just never know what you will get. I also think that the “tube” shape in the amber, ivory, and black set might be my new favorite, I have many more color ideas for that shape! Okay, I’m off, have a great Tuesday!!

We had a snow day today so the kids are home… but I’m still busy making beads. I’ll have new goodies in my store tomorrow morning.

It was a two day trek to get home… and when we arrived our power was out… but finally we seem to be settled in.

Tomorrow we head home… sigh… it has been a very nice way to spend my birthday week!

Another turtle sighting… really, it just doesn’t get old!

We got up early today and went to check out some whale watching. We saw them splashing about from our hotel with binoculars. Too bad we saw them splashing about from the boat just about as close up as we did from our hotel, not much activity too close except for when I was looking the other way! Oh well…

I found some great beads after the hike…

We see the moon set each morning because we are still basically on Pacific time… not Hawaii time which is two hours earlier! Needless to say I’m learning lots by watching the National Geographic channel with my kids each morning, one of our few choices at that hour. Today Dude and I are off to find beads and hike, at least one of those activities will make me very happy! Ha!

So far we have seen turtles two days in a row! Today we must have seen 7-8 just swimming around in this little cove near our hotel… it was pretty sweet! Gotta run… my papaya is about to be snagged! Heehee…
