Class with Kim Fields.

I’m signed up to take a class this weekend with Kim Fields. I’m sure that it will be fun because a weekend of playing with glass is always fun!
Her florals are quite amazing and it will be great to see her in action. I’ll be back with pics from the class later this weekend… Hope you are heading into a great weekend!
Christmas list…

So of course the wee ones are making their lists, and so far #2 has a bagpipe and a puppy. This could be a rough holiday…
New beads at 11:30.

I’ll have my store up in a few minutes with 14 new sets! I was busy.
Take a peek if you have a minute.
Another success!
We had another successful holiday weekend. I unfortunately got sick but I think everyone still had a nice holiday… I can’t believe it is already over. Time is just flyin’! I have to admit that we got another (yikes!) new game. Sort of on a whim DH and I ordered Rockband thinking it might show up for Christmas and apparently it showed up for Thanksgiving! We just couldn’t wait and we had to rip into it!
Now my girls and I are in a rock band together… it is big fun! I keep meaning to make a video… one of these days. My youngest and I fight over the drums… Anyway, I’m off to make beads, I’ll have lots of goodies for tomorrow!
The boro addiction continues…

I’ve got some new goodies in my store. Take a peek if you have a minute… I’ve got a bracelet with some of my polymer clay beads. I’m livin’ on the edge! I do love the colors of polymer clay so I thought I’d throw them out there and see what y’all thought. Then I found a set in my stash with a bead that says “Live, Love, Laugh” on it. Really, all three words on one kinda small bead, clearly I was on a roll that day. Anyway hope you have a happy Tuesday. I’m sure I’ll be back with Turkey tales.
Lots of rain around here.

It has been raining quite a bit here… somehow I find it comforting.
I have however, managed to get the sniffles… so instead of lots of glass melting this weekend, my Sim town, Dudaville, is thriving. Apparently I needed a little quiet time on the couch this weekend, video games are great for that. Never fear, I’ll have goodies tomorrow, happily I was busy earlier in the week. I made a few bracelets and hope to have a few more just in case you need a quick holiday gift. Okay, off to make a few beads today while the caffeine is still kicking in!
My studio is…
As suggested I am finishing this sentence… My studio is my favorite place to spend time. I know, kind of corny, but it is true. I crave time out there. If too many days go by and I don’t have a chance to be creative at the torch I get grumpy. Lately it has been quite fun to experiment with many of the boro colors, it is a whole new palette to work with. I feel like I have a few colors under my belt, I know what they will do in certain combinations, but I tell ya’, I think that some rods vary a lot by batch. I guess that is what makes if fun and I really do appreciate surprises in the kiln. (About the only place in my life that I like surprises!) Don’t get me wrong, I still love many of the Moretti colors, and I definatley appreciate their predictability, I mean really, will I ever get tired of making black and white sets? I doubt it. I think that is why I love the time in my studio, there are just so many possibilities out there waiting for me to mix ‘em up! Hopefully the happiness that my studio brings me translates into my work. I try to make the whole bead adventure a fun and happy one. Woohoo… I’m off to the torch right now!
It is finished!!
Woohoo! A stylin’ mom mobile… ![]()
