Phone madness!

Have you called your insurance company lately? Well unfortunately I’ve been calling mine often these past few weeks. A snafoo at DH’s office (uh… they “accidentally” dropped us) has lead to a huge headache of claim forms, but I’ll spare you the gory details. Anyway… I found out that if you say nothing when that perky woman comes on the phone and asks “How can I help you” that they actually connect you to a live person! I can’t tell you how happy this has made me. The menu systems these days are insane! The handy zero no longer brings you an operator and quickly you get caught in a phone menu headache as they have tried to automate so many options. So this is my tip… hopefully it will work for you too. Wish me luck as I’m off to call again! šŸ˜€
