Something to look forward too… I just ordered two new presses. I bet you thought that I had them all didn’t you!

So DH and I had a date for the whole day! Of course we get back a little early to pick up the kids and they complain! Oh well… We went and saw Eastern Promises, then got some grub, and finally we went on a nice walk. The movie was good, but I must confess I love any mafia movie… what can I say?! It was a great day, but of course it went by too quickly…

Well I don’t seem to finish many projects these days so I decided to just show you what is laying on my desk. I have gone to lots of soccer events though, volunteered in the classroom, and tonight is ANOTHER curriculum meeting that we will be attending shortly… just in case you thought I was slackin’…

I have a few new sets still available in the Mart. I found a whopping 17 sets to add today! Yikes… I guess I’ve been busy. I have a bunch of jewelry too… if it could just magically make itself look pretty on the web my life would be easier. Ha! Oh well, I can’t really complain since I’m so darn happy you all are stoppin’ to shop! I’ll go get a few photos taken so that I can keep current on my Year of Jewelry (YOJ) quest. But first can you guess where I am off to now? If you guessed soccer you were correct!

Today was a glorious day of bead making, everyone got home from school easily, and we are all packed up for our 5:30 soccer game… could it be that the routine is settling in?! Well I know one routine continues… beads tomorrow of course.

Okay, so the kids are almost in bed, DH and I are getting ready to sit down and watch a movie when I hear some shuffling in the kitchen. Our guinea pig is in the kitchen so I think Pepper is just scampering about. But then I hear it again and it is rather loud for Pepper so I get up and walk into the kitchen to find a squirrel! Needless to say after some screaming (mostly by me… I don’t like the wild coming inside) and the whole family running amok in the kitchen, we (DH) finally get the poor guy out the back door. If only I had snatched up my new little camcorder I would have had a very funny video to share…

I made another video… just because I don’t have enough going on right now. Acutally I got this super cute little camcorder which makes video so easy to work with… watch out! I’ll try not to go crazy.

Today -

Oops… okay, maybe beer before Survivor… I tell ya’ back to school is almost harder on the parents! I have so many ideas in my head for jewelry and stuff I want to share but then the day ends and I’ve run outa steam…

1:10 – Oops! Hopefully there will be a DSA soon… Computer woes are slowing it down…

So of course last week I felt a tad overwhelmed by the new schedule and all the new people added to our day. Each morning I would go stand in front of the school with all the other parents and chat… not something I’m very good at. Of course this week we are a fine oiled machine and I can just drive up and watch the kiddos jump out. Yet somehow I feel just for a moment that I want last week back. Oh the woes of parenthood, apparently it is true that the grass is always greener… sigh… Somehow I think I’ll get over it as soon as I go out there and light up the torch! I’ll be back with beads tomorrow!
