Photo Woes…
Well for some reason my blog photos are not working… I just love when one day everything works great on my site and the next day stuff is mysteriously broken by the internet imps… sigh… Today, however, I am playing with boro and having way too much fun so it will just have to wait!
Hope you are having a great day without any internet troubles!
Why I love my Dude.
So this morning I woke up to glass pancakes and I was quite sad…
Happily my Dude actually understands the circuitry of a kiln so he took apart another controller that I just happened to have and we figured out it was the relay and we replaced it. My kiln is fixed!! Woohoo!!
I can’t tell you how happy this made me!! There is nothing I find more satisfying than an instant fix! Especially on a holiday weekend. My Dude rules!!
In case you are wondering I will have beads tomorrow… sadly not as many of course, but still a few fun sets…
YOJ – Simplicity
Sometimes I get carried away with embellishments and I decided to keep things simple in this design. I actually made the ivory beads in this set to use with the stone beads that I bought here in town. I’m pretty happy with how they go together and I have to say that this bracelet is quite comfy to wear… Although with something this “simple” I feel I need at least 2-3 bracelets on at once, so I guess it really isn’t that simple after all.
The games continue…

Soccer ends… softball begins. Woohoo!
Girls weekend of fun.

The Coast trip was a great success! It was filled with lots of shopping and apparently a little gambling… None of us had ever gone to and Native American Casino so we had to check it out. I think we walked out winners after having spent a total of about $15 between the five of us. Something we can now say we did and none of us really feels the need to return. I’m glad that I have such great friends!! Oh and such a great Dude for watching the wee ones while I was away…
Headin' out of town!

Tomorrow a few of the gals and I are heading over to the Coast for a little time away… Someone (who clearly had cute pics of themselves as a child) wanted us to all share photos from our youth… eek! Then the photos started flyin’ in emails and I just had to share with everyone! Heehee… Can you guess which one is me?!
Public Works

It was a trip to Eugene Public Works yard today where they broke out all the cool machinery. This is definitely the only time I ever want to see my kid in a police car!
