This and that…

I’ve signed up for the Flame Off at the Eugene School of Glass! I hope it is fun, I think I just go to the glass school and make stuff for 90 minutes. Sounds easy enough. :D Apparently Stephanie Sersich is trying to have a spiny knotted bracelet class in Salem, OR. Michele is trying to organize this class for sometime in September so make sure you CLICK HERE to email Michele if you want more details!! Then finally, I saw my cousin on That’s Clever today! What a trip. I guess we are an artsy family… heehee… Anyway, hope your week is off to a good start!!

Happy Campers

My family took off without me to go camping last night. Happily it was cool and cloudy and I was making lots of beads while they were gone! Woohoo! The rest of my family had a great time running wild in the forest and swimming in the river while they were out enjoying nature. The girls decided that the campfire was too smokey (they are so rugged arn’t they… :D ) and goggles were needed to make them more comfortable which is what they are doing in the photo, resting by the fire in high camper fashion! Kids are so amusing. Anyway, hope you had a great weekend! I plan to have a new auction before I leave town, but no big update for awhile.

Boohoo…

At least it is in my front driveway… Gotta love it when they do construction in your neighborhood and you drive over a big ol’ nail! TGIF!! :D

What do you think?

I’m just toodling along here dealing with too many phone calls and lots of event planning and order tracking. I ordered an oxygen machine oh about 3 weeks ago and turns out I won’t be getting it for another 3 weeks. Gotta love that. I am also of course trying to make plans for my long drive. I think I can blog from my cell phone via email so look out, you may know way more than you want to about me! Heehee… Anyway, all this STUFF just takes so much time! Happily with the heat I’m not very inspired to make beads right now. I have been making jewelry though! :D And I’m even soldering… ohhhh, ahhhhh… :) Gotta mix it up every once in awhile! Hope you are having some fun near you!!

I love Rio Grande.

I got my new catalogue today! Woohoo!! I needed some good reading material… :D

Beads are up!

Just a few sets that you can find HERE… no DSA. I’ve decided I’m not sending one out until Fall when I can focus better again ’cause everyone is back in school! :D Thanks for checking in!!

I'll have something at 11:30.

I will not have an update next week since I’ll be driving 10 hours with both kids (without DH) to visit family. Send me some good car trip karma! Heehee… I figure I better toss up a few items this week so you don’t totally forget about me! :D I’ll be back…

Melting with a smile?!

Really… when will the heat go away? They say tomorrow… we can only hope!! I’m still staying away from my computer if possible. Don’t want it to start melting too! :D Happily I have pizza and AC in my future! Hope you are staying cool!!

102 is too hot!

EEK! My computer is making sad noises in the heat so I’m staying away! We have no AC and Oregonians basically just start melting in temps like these! Hope you have a little cool weather near you, or at least central air!! :D

Virga?

Okay, I post my happy water picture and I see it says it is raining here and I’m like what?! It is not, and the conditions are listed as virga? Huh? So I have to look it up…

In meteorology, virga is precipitation that falls from a cloud but evaporates before reaching the ground. At high altitudes the precipitation falls mainly as ice crystals before melting and finally evaporating; this is usually due to compressional heating because the air pressure increases closer to the ground. It is very common in the desert.”
