It is just wrong to have a cold in the summer! Sigh… I did manage to make some fun beads before I started to feel puny. Here is a ring that I just made with some cool murrine cane with my name in it sent to me by Beth Olson. It is pretty fun I think! I’m hoping to make some more rings. I love the fact that they are adjustable. I’ve seen some cool glass rings around but it always bothered me that the ring base was made of glass, that just did not seem sturdy IMHO. Anyhoo… this baby is stuck onto the base with epoxy… I just love epoxy, and it is amazingly comfortable to wear! Woohoo! I’ve also been making some oh so fun buttons. Remember when I made the sewn bracelets with the flowers that could spin? Well I’ve been making more of those flowers using a new technique. The new technique uses no mandrel making the whole process much more fun. I’ll try to get a photo up soon of what I made recently. Okay, off to putter around my house and hopefully start to feeling better. I think I might go sit on the back porch and listen to my latest audible book. Oh yeah, I’m hoping to have some beads for sale in the MART on Friday morning…
