Okay, so here it is… my story. I live in Eugene, OR with my husband and two daughters. You might wonder about how I came up with the name Duda Designs… Well, I usually refer to my husband as “dude” and we decided that the feminine of “dude” was “duda” and hence a name was born.
I have a Fine Arts degree from Bryn Mawr College where I studied printmaking and painting. Through the years I’ve tried many creative outlets and I certainly seem to be hooked on melting glass.
I have been making beads since about 1999. I have been fortunate enough to study with Deb Crowley, Leah Fairbanks, Stephanie Sersich, Heather Trimlett, Kim Fields, and most recently Kristina Logan. Each artist was a delight and I look forward to more classes in the future.
Here is a photo of my very cute studio.
The inside… really, I do know where everything is…
and here is my elegant web design/shipping and receiving department.
So there you have it, a little bit about me and my creative space. Thanks to everyone who has been interested in my glass beads and jewelry over the years, I hope that you continue to stay tuned. I predict lots of glassy goodness in our future! 🙂
Oh… and of course my kids love to make art as well!
